November 2023 Newsletter
Saturday 4th November. Every week since the start of the season, the club has been full for every session. At Tuesday's session, we had a visit from our Great-granddaughter which involved a lot of nursing with our lady members. All our bowlers, in particular, our new members are improving their bowling and enjoying what is an incredible environment in the club.
Saturday 18th November. We introduced the menu for our Christmas dinner, also gave the details of the Christmas shut-down. We took photos of each session. Another week of pure joy in the club. The draw involving the tickets you all received takes place next week. GOOD LUCK.
Saturday 25th November. We welcomed Diane Thomas back after a period of illness. We wished Mary Jones a HAPPY BIRTHDAY. Rachael equalled Marion's 180 in the Wedge Competition.
Saturday 2nd December. We are now preparing for our annual Christmas Dinner and the indications are, it will be another unforgettable evening. The bowling this week has been of a very high standard. WELL DONE EVERYONE.
Clive and Chris were delighted to accept an invitation to turn the Christmas lights on at the annual event at Anthony's Funeral Parlour on Wednesday 29th. What a lovely evening it was.
Saturday 9th December. We had the last week of the Wedge competition, winners will be announced in due course. We will begin a new competition when we come back in the new year. All the preparations for the dinner are now being finalized.
