December 2021 Newsletter
Friday 3rd December. Jean Morgan couldn't make todays session, she had her jab yesterday and is feeling unwell. We all wish you well Jean, Lovely atmosphere again in the club today, one player said it was like being at a party. Lovely comment.
Tuesday 7th December. The bad weather deterred Gwen and Marion from attending, Darren went Christmas shopping but Roland from our reserve list was available. In the session itself, in the deciding double points end, the reds were leading 8 points to 1 but the blues managed to get 4 shots to win the game 9 points to 8. Great stuff.
Alun Clemas had his check-up today and he came through it well and has been given his licence back.
Friday 10th December. We welcomed Alun Clemas back after his illness. We remembered the passing of David Havard, it's a year ago today since he died. Pat was with us for this morning session and we talked about David's time with us at the club. A lot of fun and laughter during the session.
Monday 13th December. Good news. Not long ago, I entered our club into the 12 Days of Christmas Competition, organized by RCT Sport.
