HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU ALL
Week ending Saturday 1st June. We held our "Fun Day" this week. It was the worst day of the week for weather, but that didn't deter some of our bowlers from taking on the challenge of the Target Course. In the clubhouse, everyone enjoyed the fantastic buffet donated by members of the club. The teams were presented with the TARGET CHALLENGE CUPS. We then had a quiz. All-in-all, a lovely day.
Phil Jenkins couldn't attend because he has Covid. We are all hoping to see you back with us soon.
We had some more new members joining this week.
The green is improving week by week.
Week ending Saturday 8th June. Disappointed we were not able to hold the school sessions this week.
The green is now showing signs of improving. Membership is still increasing.
A sad ending to the week with the news that a relation to Elaine Squires had died in a tragic road accident. Our club sends our condolences to Elaine and the family at this time.
Week ending Saturday 15th June. This week we were fortunate to be able to play the 2 school sessions.
both schools enjoyed their time with us.
We welcomed Phil Jenkins back after suffering with Covid, also we welcomed back Roger Jenkins back after recovering from a broken bone in his foot.
Everyone is saying how well the green is now playing.
Week ending Saturday 22nd June. Weather good this week, green playing really well.
We wished Brenda a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY.
Both school sessions were very enjoyable for everyone. A big THANK YOU TO EVERYONE who assisted with the schools sessions.
We have recently had an influx of new members who are patrons of the Dunraven Hotel. We offer them a WARM WELCOME to the club.
Week ending Saturday 29th June. All sessions played this week except for the schools who had sports days etc.
Our chairman's son Harrison had an operation on Thursday. All our members wish him well in his recovery.
