Tuesday 1st March. The Welsh Government has lowered the pandemic level to 0, therefore wearing of masks is now voluntary. We are now able to increase the numbers of players at each session. We have also changed the layout for the sessions. Another entertaining session, played with a good spirit, plenty of laughter, a really pleasurable place to be.
Thursday 10th March. Lovely session with the Autistic Group. The participants are really enjoying their sessions with us. Great place to be.
Friday 11th March. Another exciting session, the target competition was very enjoyable. We are now looking forward to our End of Season dinner.
We were saddened to hear that John Hughes, husband of Sylvia has passed away and our condolences go out to all of the family.
Saturday 12th March. Sam and Chris Sheridan played their semi final match in the Short Match Competition, Sam winning 2 legs to 0.
Tuesday 15th March. The Slider Target is proving to be a popular competition. Kate Breeze Executive Director of The Pen y Cymoedd Wind Farm visited us today, to discuss with our members possible future projects for our area.
Friday 18th March. We welcomed Alun Clemas back today after his recent illness, he played Chris Stewart in the Short Mat Semi Final, loosing 2 legs to 0.
Friday 25th March. A very busy session today, great bowling and an entertaining quiz plus a great atmosphere, that's what it's all about.
Tuesday 29th March. Morning session was great, everyone looking forward to the end of season dinner in the Dunraven Hotel this-evening. A lady called in to register interest in playing the Summer Season and she stayed for the session, her name was Elaine Squires. There is a lot of interest in the summer season which is great.
Wednesday 30th March. The dinner in the Dunraven Hotel was a great success. The meals provided were outstanding and everyone enjoyed each others company. We had a short meeting to discuss plans for the future etc. Clive thanked the members for their support throughout the pandemic, following all the guidelines and supporting each other, also thanking Sam and Chris for their great assistance in making this club a pleasure for the members to attend. We did miss members who could not attend, Mike and Rose on holiday, Gwen having Covid, we all wish her well, Lynne despite trying so hard couldn't get transport to the venue, Roland who had a Chess meeting and Sam who was not feeling well.
