November 2022 Newsletter
Tuesday 1st November. With the scaffolding in place, we are now waiting for work to start on the roof.
Everyone is settling well into the winter season, the new members are improving every session and everything looks promising for the future.
Friday 4th November. Our members were pleased to know Susan Anderson is getting better. Once again, a very entertaining and enjoyable session.
Saturday 5th November Wet morning. All our members wished Marion "All the best" for her holiday in Australia over Christmas. While discussion Marion's trip, someone asked how Christine Starr is now. Chris left the Rhondda, she grew up in Mountain View Tynewydd and went to live in New Zealand. Chris came to visit our club (Photo in Gallery 9/6/18). Marion said Chris hasn't had the best of health recently. Everyone at Treherbert Bowls Club send Chris our good wishes.
Highlight of the session, Sam and Marion scored the maximum 8 on one end.
Tuesday 8th November. Brenda couldn't play today because she is suffering with vertigo. It was nice to see Susan again and feeling better. It is Elaine's birthday today and we all wish her "Many Happy Returns" and she played really well today. Today we started the Wedge Competition which will last until after Christmas.
