Tuesday 2nd May. Large turnout on our Coronation Cream Tea day. Work has commenced on installing the Zip-Wire. The cream tea held in the Dunraven Hotel was great, lovely food with good company. You can't ask for more.
Wednesday 3rd May, Great Autism Center session. We welcomed Mike Lias to our session today and we appreciated his participation and look forward to him attending future sessions when he is available. Thank you Mike,
Friday 12th May, Huge turnout, 4 rinks on a lovely morning. We celebrated 3 birthdays, Helen's husband David, Pat Havard and Christine Stewart with a big chorus, outdoors of Happy Birthday. Best wishes to you all.
We welcomed David Thomas and Phillip Jenkins to our club today.
Saturday 13th May. More visitors today, we welcomed Steve, David, Anna and David's mother Mrs Davies who visited us last summer and have returned again. A lovely session again today, sunny and warm.
Monday 15th May. We welcomed Richard Fey, 5 young boys and Mother and Daughter Liz and India to their first Taster Sessions. The club is getting very busy.
Thursday 18th May. Installation of the Zip-Wire was completed today. The 3 items our club donated to the park are now all in popular use. I would like to mention our thanks to the Parks Department for their assistance throughout this project in particular, Adam Kettley and Lisa Austin, also the installation team.
Friday 19th May. Weather still great and that is helping to speed up the green, FAB. Another new visitor today, Roger Jenkins, he had a taster session and enjoyed himself, he will be back.
Saturday 20th May. Pat, Rhys, Helen and Lynne have been unwell this week and we all hope they will be back with us again soon. With the weather forecast saying this warm and sunny weather will last, we can look forward to some nice bowling sessions.
Tuesday 23rd May. The green has been watered today. Large turnout for today's session, including another new member, Tarah Waite.
