Saturday 5th December. Sam Morgan equalled the highest score of 120 in in the target competition. The competition ends next Saturday 12th.
Tuesday 8th December. We welcomed Brenda back today after recovering from Covid-19.
We had a really good session, everyone helping to create a nice atmosphere. We had a short quiz, which was a good laugh. The target score to beat is still 120 and this competition ends on Saturday.
Wednesday 9th December. Following on from todays News Briefing, The advice given "Not to mix with anyone outside of your own household", we have taken the decision to close the club until Tuesday 5th January. Subject to any changes.
Friday 11th December. Pat Havard gave me the very sad news that her husband David has passed away. Since he and Pat joined the club, they were regular players and as soon as David walked in the club, his broad smile and infectious laughter gave everyone a lift. He loved his bowls, the social atmosphere, meeting everyone and the refreshments, we will all miss him. On behalf of everyone at the club, our condolences go to Pat and all her family. David will be sadly missed and he will always be remembered at our club.
REST IN PEACE DAVID
