December 2017 Newsletter
Friday 1st December. A good turnout again today, Kay's sister Lynfa called in and we were able to show her Kay's bench which arrived yesterday, she was very pleased, as we all are. She also brought Christmas cake which her sister in-law, Sandra had made for us that we all enjoyed very much, thank you both.
We reflected on Dickie's funeral yesterday, it was a very large funeral which showed how popular he was within the community and how he will be missed.
Friday 8th December. Snow showers this morning. Kay's sisters, Lynfa and Debbie, visited our session, to see Kay's bench and both were very pleased with it. We were also delighted to welcome David back after his spell in hospital.
Thursday 14 December. 25 Members got together for a lunch prior to taking a break for Christmas, this part of the season shuts down on Tuesday 19th and reopens on Tuesday January 2nd 2018.
Tuesday 19 December. Last session before our Christmas break, lovely atmosphere, well attended, nice buffet, usual good time.
Rotary Drawer numbers are on our "Latest News page". We will reopen on January 2nd at 11.30am.
WE WISH ALL OUR MEMBERS, VISITORS AND SUPPORTERS A VERY HAPPY CHRISTMAS.
