Hi Clive,
Thank you very much for letting me know about David’s passing to the next life.
I could see in David’s eyes, how he cherished his time with the Treherbert Bowls Club members.
Thank you all at Treherbert Bowls for being there for him when he needed friends, opportunity and purpose in his life.
Many thanks Clive and Christine.
Take care. Stay safe.

Monday 2nd November. The Welsh Government's update today stated that when the Firebreak ends, indoor activities of up to 15 persons can take place provided the guidelines are followed.
This will allow us to begin our winter season. I am not going to rush to start and have a date of Tuesday 17th November in mind. This will give me time to get the clubhouse ready (following the guidelines) and to phone everyone to find out who wants to participate at the start. Our Latest News tells you all you need to know and how you can play your part in making it a success.
Phoned Brenda today and she has no taste or smell and feels sick. We are all hoping that she will improve in the coming days.
Thursday 5th November. Tomorrow is David Evans's funeral. He leaves Anthony Jones's Funeral premises for Llwydcoed Crematorium at 9.45 am. 10.30 at Llwydcoed Crematorium.
Today we have been busy at the clubhouse preparing to start our winter season on Tuesday 17 November. We invited our Chairman, Sam Morgan, to inspect the layout of the clubhouse and review our Risk Assessment, which he endorsed.
There are some photographs in the new 2020/2021 Winter Season gallery, I hope you will be pleased, we think it looks stunning and practical and will enable us to enjoy safe sessions.
I will be phoning everyone through the coming week to make a list of anyone who is interested in participating when we start the season. It may be that some will not want to be there at the start but maybe later on and that is understandable.
Friday 6th November. David's funeral took place today. REST IN PEACE DAVID.
We have now finished preparations for the winter season, all being well, we will start on Tuesday 17th November.
Brenda still has symptoms of Covid-19 but is still in good spirits and is improving.
Tuesday 10th November. Just a reminder, I will be phoning members who want to begin the winter season starting on 17th November on Thursday between 4.30 and 5,30 pm to offer a slot for the sessions next week.
Wednesday 11th November. Today I was given the sad news by his wife Sheila that Brian East had passed away. He died from Covid-19. His funeral has already taken place. Brian and Sheila enjoyed their sessions at our club, Brian also played for the club team in the Monday League. They also enjoyed our Christmas dinners and our social times in the club. Brian was a gentleman and he was married to Sheila for 63 years. He was 83 years of age.
