BIRTHDAYS THIS MONTH
 Rhys Austin Phillips
 Tony Jones
 Roland Humphries
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU ALL
Saturday 6th April.
Chris Stewart is still unable to return to her normal life, we are all hoping to see her soon.
We had a few members on holiday this week so there was a couple of extra sessions available which were taken up very quickly.
Saturday 13th April.   Last week of the winter season.
Chris Stewart is still unwell, Brenda was unwell. We all hope they will be back soon.
We celebrated the end of the season at all three sessions with a party. The competition winners Rachael, Helen, Jean, Marion and Sam were presented with prizes. Well done.
Clive thanked the members at each session for making it another enjoyable season, so much fun and laughter. He thanked Sam for his continued support (no club could have a better chairman) and of course Chris, he thanked her first of all, for such an excellent buffet at the sessions this week and so much more throughout the season (too many to list).
Clive then gave the members a short review of the success of the club.
Club membership is strong both in summer and winter seasons.
We are at full capacity for the winter season year in, year out.
The summer season membership is very high, of course there is no limitation to membership in the summer, thank goodness.
Club fees are frozen again. Good news.
We continue to have referrals from a variety of sources.   Just for example, our latest referral lives in Porth, he phoned me and asked if he could come along to our club. I asked him how he had heard of Treherbert Bowls Club. He said he went to a meeting in Pontyprydd to find out about opportunities. They told him they had a list and at the top of the list was Treherbert Bowls Club. I invited him along to a session. After his first playing session and following our after playing activities and refreshments were over, he came and told me "Clive, I loved every minute". He is now looking forward to the summer season with us. Icing on the cake, he had a grandson born this week.
Every session is a pleasure, so much fun and laughter, and everyone supporting each other, it doesn't get any better than this. Thank you all for making Treherbert Bowls Club a pleasure to be involved with and long may it continue. Clive.

SUMMER SEASON 2024
Saturday 20th April.   We shut down for maintenance, we would like to express our thanks to those who helped us on Tuesday.
We had our first session of bowling today which went well. The green is not in the best condition but we were able to play and hope for it to improve soon.
Saturday 27th April.   The weather was cold but fine so we were able to play all 6 sessions. The green is in quite a poor condition but all players were coping with it well.
We welcomed Sandra Broughton to our club and she enjoyed her first sessions with us.
