HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU ALL
Week ending Saturday October 5th. Another good week. A new development in the club, we are now showing club photographs, including past and present on a tv screen. This will give newer members the opportunity to see how the club has developed particularly indoors.
Week ending Saturday October 12th. Full sessions all the week. Clive informed the sessions that the Christmas dinner at the Dun is now planned for 6.30pm Tuesday December 10th.
Week ending Saturday October 19th. We welcomed Diane Thomas back following her recent injury. We also welcomed Len Pearce back following his recent illness.
Some of our members are unwell at the moment and we all wish them well. Another good week of bowling.
Week ending Saturday October 26th. We welcomed Marion back following her operation. Jean Morgan had a fall at home and we all send her our best wishes. We welcomed Sue and Len Jones back after a few weeks off.
Week ending Saturday November 2nd. Good sessions this week considering the large sick list.
We are all thrilled with Len Pearce's form since coming back from illness, he has been outstanding.
Week ending Saturday November 9th. We still have a large sick-list unfortunately. Jean Morgan is showing small signs of improvement but has a long way to go after a bad fall.
The menu for our Christmas dinner at the Dunraven Hotel is now on the notice board and what a very good menu it is.
Week ending Saturday November 16th. The sick list is coming down at last, every session full to capacity this week.
Week ending Saturday November 23rd. A good week of bowling. Diane played her first game since her fall and we can all join in and congratulate Mary on her 90th birthday.
We are now looking forward to the Christmas dinner.
Sunday 24th November. During the storm at the weekend, we had the sad news that Maureen Duckett's house was flooded.
