WISHING YOU ALL A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY
Week ending Saturday May 3rd. Good week of bowling, no cancellations due to weather.
We are preparing for our VE Day celebrations next Tuesday 6th May and hoping for a nice sunny day.
Week ending Saturday May 10th. Lovely weather all the week,
Monday evening we decorated our clubhouse for the VE Day celebrations which we held during our Tuesday morning session. We celebrated in style with lots of lovely food which was donated by club members, some got well into the spirit by wearing fancy dress, Clive did a quiz based on questions about WW2 and we had a very jolly sing-along.
Our thanks to Sue and Mike for running the Wednesday evening session this week.
Week ending Saturday 24th May. The lovely weather we have been experiencing these last few weeks, is now breaking and giving our bowling green some much needed water.
Thanks again to our key holders who have run some sessions for us these last couple of weeks.
Week ending Saturday 31st May. Very bad weather this week, we were only able to run two sessions.
Gwen had a long awaited appointment regarding a much needed hip operation, unfortunately, for the first time in her life, she had high blood pressure, they are giving her 2 weeks to try to bring it down. We're all hoping that it will drop enough for her to go ahead with the operation. GOOD LUCK GWEN.
